Alice's language is laconic, she rarely works with color, although she has a delicate and sensual attitude to color. Alice reduces any visual range to the rudiments of geometric figures, working not with geometries as such, but with its “atomic” plasticity. This gives the beholder not only the freedom of interpretation, but also the freedom to create a visual image.
Alisa Joffe is a student of Anatoly Osmolovsky, she studied at ICA Moscow. In 2016 she entered the list of the most promising young artists according to Forbes. Fellow of the Joseph Brodsky Fellowship Foundation 2017, resident of the American Academy in Rome 2017-2018. Worked with Comme des Garçons, Maison Margiela, Bonne Suits, Virronen. Alice's exhibitions were held in Russia, Lithuania, Sweden and Italy, the Netherlands.
