On January 28, the a—s—t—r—a contemporary art gallery will host the opening of the sixth edition of the annual a—s—t—r—a open project — a series of group exhibitions during which the gallery space becomes a place for institutional debuts, testing of new ideas, and a platform for artistic dialogue.

For the sixth edition, the gallery invited curator Svetlana Taylor to collaborate.

Svetlana Taylor is an independent curator whose interests include the study of transmedial processes in image change. Her main focus is the phenomenological world of visual images in the digital age, the role of images, a unified information system for data transmission, and mechanisms for the interaction of cultural and cognitive processes.
