На стенде №13 галерея представит новые работы молодых художников — Jolie Alien, Артура Кривошеина, Егора Воскресенского и Есоль Ким.
Alien Jolie
An autodidact artist, she works with catchy images, simple plots, cropped compositions and expressive drawings. Each of Jolie's works is introspective, connected with personal memories, which partly explains her visual language, which is intertwined with surreal images, simple geometric patterns, catchy inscriptions made with paint and spray.
Jolie Alien was born in 2002 in Moscow.
Jolie's works resemble a wall that has been covered with graffiti for a long time: the figures float on top of each other, creating a collage effect. Jolie outlines youth, which she has direct access to and which is closed to the adult world.
The artist finishes her studies at the Moscow art INSTITUTE, combining a career in the fashion industry, participating in shows of such brands as Valentino, Off-White, Jil Sander, Paco Rabanne, Prada, Viviene Westwood, Simone Rocha, etc. Starred in international advertising campaigns Mango, Fendi, Adidas.
The rights to use the image of "Whirpool" were acquired by Mango for use in the release of a collection of t-shirts around the world. She was the subject of articles about her work in Document Journal, Vogue, InStyle, Elle and models.com.
Preparing for admission to Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
Complementary colors, expressive drawing and collage compositions of her paintings may seem confusing to many, but this confusion, ambiguity is a special feature of Jolie's works that distinguishes them from many others. As an artist, she values and puts perception above reflection, intuitiveness and even a certain automaticity of her paintings are related to art Brut and some of the works of Jean Dubuffet.
Jolie's language is highly subjective and even introspective. Perhaps only classical techniques can now allow the artist the luxury of speaking out about himself and capturing the reality around him as an enduring impression.
Her works are in collections in Russia, China, Japan, Belgium and America.
Lives and works between Moscow, London, and Tokyo.

The author works with the artistic heritage of the past, occasionally borrowing some artistic techniques and, afterwards, transforming them into something closer to himself. The author is also often inspired by the thinking of neural networks, sometimes completely unpredictable.
Each artist's work is multi-layered. It begins with a tonal substrate for which he uses various pigments, solvents and inks. This is always followed by traditional materials such as watercolours, pastels and others.

"I call my work an interdisciplinary research. Being both artist and art historian, I play several roles at once. This allows me to occupy a kind of middle ground between philosopher and creator of the material."

"In my works abstraction is a way to know and fix the process of thinking.
Most often, my paintings start from a single starting point on the canvas, and end with a multi-layered mass of elements. Random details that have arisen without thinking, spontaneously, just as our thoughts overlap and intertwine with each other.
In this regard, the picture for me is a field for fixing human experience, life choice, internal conflict or consent. These feelings have no form in the material world of things, but in my works they are able to acquire their own image. No one knows what the human process of decision–making, emotions and events looks like - after all, everyone has their own. Therefore, for the viewer, it is abstraction, or rather distraction from familiar forms, that gives freedom to perception and imagination.
Thus, the final outcome of this or that work is initially never known to me, as well as the names of my paintings, which are as spontaneous as possible. For me, this is not an improvisation, rather for me it is the same thought process, decision-making and choice that a person is doomed to make endlessly."
Artur Krivoshein.

"I believe in perfect form, colour and composition. The silent power of visual art leaves me in awe, and the emergence of ever new media and tools makes me mesmerised by the vividness of the visual world.
In my works I explore: the relationship between new and old technologies, in which lies the beauty of human thought, new signs and symbols that replace the old without changing their nature, themes of humanism and anti-humanism.
Based on the experience, principles and discoveries of modernists and postmodernists of the 20th century, I try to use new approaches and develop original techniques. I do not see myself outside the context of my time. I am in love with the era I'm living in"

Kim Yesol
b. 1999, Khabarovsk, Russia) lives and works in Moscow.
EDUCATION:
- Faculty of Journalism at the Lomonosov Moscow State University
Since 2023 he has been creating ceramic robots. In her works Yesol strives to give form and materialize memories and feelings from her childhood, because the image of the robot is directly related to the early period of the artist's life.
Yeosol's childhood period - from 4 months to 5 years old - was spent in Seoul, mostly with her grandmother, which had a significant impact on her creative development. The rich culture and age-old traditions of the place influenced her personal formation.
Unlike most children who played with dolls, Yesol was always fascinated by robots. And this image became habitual for her, the artist well studied their form and variants of possible designs.
“Two years ago, when my son appeared in my life, his birth became the starting point of my creativity. Life changed, the former employment went to the background. The forced, but at the same time pleasant pause in the usual routine led to a reflection of the whole experience. The more I spend time with my children (two of them today), the more vividly I remember my childhood.
This is how the first SEOULSI ceramic robot series, consisting of seven sculptures, was born. Each robot is the embodiment of a neighborhood in Seoul with which I have special, fond memories from my childhood.
Contrary to popular perceptions of robots as cold, soulless machines designed to perform purely utilitarian functions, SEOULSI's robots are, on the contrary, a form that has no practical meaning but carries a deep meaning and emotional experience. Each robot is handmade. The period from conception to full realization of one robot varies from one month to six months.”
Yeosol Kim, artist
