Lytaev Anton
Born in 1986 in Pronsk, Ryazan region, where he currently lives and works.
Started his career as an artist with wood carving in 2011. I was engaged in garden and park sculpture, small architectural forms, land-art, artistic processing of bronze. Now I prefer a more abstract language and making chamber pieces. My main medium is sculpture, but I also do photography with a similar aesthetic.
“I take objects that clearly show signs of the work of time. The flaws and blemishes; the rust of iron and the cracks of wood. It's all so in tune with the human condition. His fragility; his vulnerability; but also his resilience in the face of adversity. My message is the quiet sadness of human existence as opposed to the superficial glamor of trying to glamorize reality.
Perhaps the central theme of any of my work is: “Peace as something unattainable. Balance as something momentary”.
