"What I am talking about in my art is precisely expressed in the famous saying: "You cannot enter the same river twice." This statement becomes a kind of quintessence of the idea of impermanence. We always make mistakes when we perceive the "river" through the word itself, because it is language that creates the illusion of continuity, stability and immutability of forms. However, intuitively and through personal experience, we understand that the world is not like that at all. There is no absolute stability in it — neither in external objects, nor inside us, nor in the events themselves. Everything is subject to movement, change, and fluidity. Language, on the contrary, tends to fix and stabilize. We don't just think in words —we often see with them. It is this property of language that turns it into an instrument of illusion. Nevertheless, there is an opportunity to break through this veil — through the synthesis of pictorial and verbal language. And then visual art becomes a way to get closer to the true reality: to the world as a stream, as a vibration of forms, their fluctuation, variability and instability."
