Lapik Arina
I was born in the Belgorod region. In 2017, already in St. Petersburg, began painting in oil and ceramics. In 2023, she had her first solo exhibition. She collaborated with the Mayakovsky Library, the ONS project, the Third Place, the Second Breath Foundation.
“My works are a process of studying, comprehending the surrounding reality and its continuation. They are also a constant reflection and an ever-childlike imagination. I am interested in everyday deviations, folk culture, fairy tales and fairy tales, the phenomenon of provincialism in general and the mythologies it gives birth to.”
