Ivanov Vassily

Vasily Ivanov is a visual artist. He was born in Moscow in 1999. He graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2020, and completed his studies at the Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia in 2023, where he studied under Igor Mukhin, Elena Anosova, and Vladislav Efimov. His works are included in the MAMM collection, as well as in private collections.

Graphic elements—a stream of consciousness that imitates the continuous flow of thoughts, feelings, and impressions—are an integral part of his works. The compositions, however, follow patterns reflecting the contemporary world—expressive, energetic, and emotional. The artist explores the transformation of visual archetypes, viewing them as special intertemporal channels of communication between cultural layers. Sentimentalism and a dynamic search for form predominate in his work.
