CAPITAL GROUP – Residential Complex “Golden” on Sofiyskaya Embankment
Collaboration with artist Grigory Maslennikov for the residential complex "Zolotoy" on Sofiyskaya Embankment.
Materials: microcement, quartz chips, plaster, brass, metal, patination, impregnations for creating cracks, oil.
Concept of works:
In 1871, Arthur Rimbaud wrote the poem "Vowels", in which he sets himself the task of finding the true meaning of each letter and sound, namely, he gives a color meaning to each vowel.
So he formed a kind of color table consisting of:
A - black velvet, darkness, ink color;
E - whiteness;
I - purple, scarlet;
U - green, grassy;
O - Blue, grayish tones
For the project, Grigory made a special study of the socio-cultural profile of Russians and changes in the features of the national character in recent years in connection with a series of global cataclysms and events.
Flair Russia 2022 /4th issue/ was dedicated to the transition of formations from the VUCA world (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) to the BANI world (brittle, anxious, nonlinear, incomprehensible).
The VUCA concept referred primarily to the increasing complexity of the world, BANI is a transition to a new level, global changes, when people come to understanding through dialogue, train their intuition and find the right directions for working with changes.
That is, our world is changing and moving to a new level, experiencing changes.
