Dyatlovskaya Anna
Anna Dyatlovskaya creates real fragments of entrance walls, turning technical materials- plaster, canvas and paint into the author's style called "Wall Painting".
The Soviet Union left behind many buildings that can be found in all CIS countries. The most massive were residential five-story buildings, which were popularly nicknamed "Khrushchev" or panels. Initially, these houses were planned as temporary housing, but even many decades after the collapse of the USSR, Soviet housing makes up the majority of the housing stock in Russia and the CIS countries. GOSTs of architectural solutions extended not only to the layout of apartments, square meters, the number of stairs, but also the color scheme of the entrance walls. They are mostly painted in blue and green at the bottom and highlighted in elegant white at the top. The panels have gone down in history not only as structures. They are captured by artists and directors. And the legendary entrance walls can be seen in hundreds of feature films. Anna's main idea is to capture a part of the wall on canvas in its historical context, focusing attention as an accessible way to convey messages. From trivial scribbled captions like "Vasya was here," to harsh protests or touching lyrical lines. This is a kind of prototype of a social network that has not found the Internet, like statuses. The artist invites the viewer to independently imagine the entire life path of the walls and all their "layering" from color and cracks, to texture and symbolism.
