Malyshki 18:22
Malyshki 18:22 is a duo of sister artists Nika and Aksinya Sarychevy from Siberia.
In their artistic practice, the art group works on the border between the imaginary and the real. The participants explore themes of everyday life, human vulnerability, femininity, inner childhood and sisterhood. They look at life through the prism of the games they invented as children, superimpose imaginary worlds on unsightly realities and reveal the problems of modernity through the practice of "beautyvandalism".
The artists work with various media - graphics, painting, readymade, textiles, video, performance, urban intervention. Their works are built on contrasts: pink, tender - disturbing and spooky.
Founders of the bedroom gallery " Little", co-founder of "ars kotelnaya". Winners of the grant program for artists working in the field of actual art of the Garage Museum of Modern Art (2021-22). Twice winner of the grant program for artists of the House of Culture "GES-2".
They live and work in Tomsk.
